Auro was founded in May 2015 with the aim of producing premium bean-to-bar chocolate using only the best quality Filipino ingredients, without the use of additives. Auro produces chocolate using only fine cocoa beans directly from Mindanao farmers. Auro buys cocoa beans, giving farmers a fair compensation to guarantee the quality of the raw material and to offer growers the opportunity to improve the standard of living of their families. Auro passionately manufactures all its products in the modern factory in Calamba, Laguna, equipped with the latest technologies and certifications (HACCP, HALAL). The skilful processing based on ancient techniques, combined with the quality of the raw materials used, allows the distinctive aromatic notes of the fine cocoa used to be enclosed in each bar of Auro’s chocolate.
